Located in Braga Street, Bandung, this coffee shop has strong heritage characteristic. This building is dominated by massive blocked-shaped buildings whose facade directly to the sidewalk. The project that the Oi Architect should achieve is making a coffee shop with have a different impression that beautifies the sightseeing area, yet it is a modern one.
The architect push the facade backward to create a space for pedestrian. The dry garden with tree and gravel on the front becomes an entrance pathway that welcoming the visitors. The clear glass building makes the interior more transparent to stole the attention.
White colors and wooden furniture dominating the space since this coffee shop is into a minimalist concept. To create a homey impression and enlighten the mood, the architect choose a bright warm light color. A wide tables are preserved to make visitor feel comfortable to hanging out or finishing the work.
The bar table that blends with the wall color become the focal point, following with another supporting minimalist elements such as hanging bar lamp, backdrop design, and dropped ceiling. As the result, a refreshing and clean look coffee shop that makes people drop by.
