Ciruelo 7 is a living space of 155 square meters on the outskirts of the city of Cancun, Mexico. The architect divide the space into 3 levels, including: living room, dining space, kitchen, backyard patio, storage room, four bedrooms, laundry room, service quarters, and a terrace.
Another unique task for ŠA atelier architect is creating a transportable cabin that can be constructed in a workshop and brought to the site. The cabin had to be reproductive and adapt well to any different contexts. That is why, they choose a modular system to achieve the goals. The system defines a structure as a set of individual elements consisting of columns, walls, floors, roofs, and etc. Depends on the situation, this building can be transported in assembled or individual elements.
This time, Freehouse have to redesign a Victorian brick house into a house with a balanced combination of minimalism, a material-led approach and clever interventions that respond to their clients’ needs. The design appears modest, but packs when it comes to the clients’ expectations.
SNOW House is a private residence and office function all at once. Even though it only have a small frontage, the architect successfully synchronizes the facade to create the illusion of spaciousness.
This is a detached house with 6 separate gardens and courtyards in various levels of the house. Since it is surrounded by other higher houses, privacy becoming the main concern for the client. as the result, the HYLA Architect’s team create a courtyard at the back of the house that let light and ventilation in at the same time.
